November Daily Drawing Challenge- Houseplants

Drawing-Challange-November-2014

I love my houseplants and have quite a few all around my flat, some of them have been part of my life for over 20 yrs!!! They a great source of inspiration, and so beautiful,so I decided to set myself a challenge of drawing my plants every day, 30 mins or more for the month of November. I will use any medium that takes my fancy and will go with the flow, I want this to be enjoyable and fun 🙂

I enjoy drawing and know how important it is to the look and style of my designs, I am currently working on my first big collection and its going to organic in look and has a lot of influence from nature and most of all plants and flowers.

Along side this challenge I am also taking  module 2 Creating your professional identity, it’s really giving me confidence, to push myself and I am loving it so much, only working weekends means I can put a lot of time in to learning as much as possible. ://makeitindesign.com/design-school/

I am looking forward to seeing where this challenge takes me and what exciting ideas and designs evolve from it.

Nature is so beautiful, i think I will be starting with these succulents. :)

I decided to use just pencil for the first drawing (30 mins) and really look and draw what I see, the other  more colourful creation is from a different angle but highly stylised could not help myself. I have a good feeling about this challenge 🙂
